“Before any hike in New Zealand, it’s highly recommended to go to the D.O.C (Department Of Conservation). They will be able to guide you toward the appropriate hike regarding your physical condition. Also, they know all about the dangers and have accurate weather forecast. In the mountains, weather is changing really fast. They have information centers pretty much everywhere and have all the maps and all the instructions you need.”
A country with infinite landscapes
New Zealand is a country naturally rich in lakes, mountains, and lagoons. It is a surprising country to whoever will make the effort to cross the oceans and go as far as the nearly 20 000 kilometers separating this land from France.
Best known for the Maori dances, its rugby team and the Lord of the Ring movies, its vegetation is rather unique. The environnemental conservation and protection of animals are important matters over there.
There are splendid species of birds and you might be luck enough to hear them singing. They are so different from the ones we are used to in Europe.
Surely a destination wedding on the other side of the world would be pretty unique, allowing you to come back with unforgettable memories.
What do you think of heading to New Zealand?
Here are a few places to look into if you wish to get married in kiwi land :
